Planned and Legacy Gifts
Community Connections Circle
When you designate the Hub 50+ as a recipient of a planned gift, you become a member of our legacy society: Community Connection Circle.
Charitable Bequest
Naming The Hub 50+ in your will or living trust is a popular way to support the Center. A charitable bequest can be a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or what remains after other bequests — including those to family members — are made. Or, your will can specify that your heirs receive lifetime income from your estate, with the remainder going to the Hub for charitable purposes.
Charitable Gift Annuity
A charitable gift annuity allows you to arrange a future gift to The Hub 50+ while receiving an income stream you can count on for the rest of your life and/or the life of a loved one. You can establish a gift annuity by transferring cash or securities to the Hub and you will receive an immediate tax deduction for the charitable portion of your donation.
Charitable IRA Rollover
The Charitable IRA Rollover allows Americans 73 and older to make the gift of a lifetime by transferring IRA assets to charity without federal tax penalty.
Real Estate
The value of your real estate may exceed that of any other asset you own. With the help of The Hub 50+, you can turn your property's value into community good and receive financial and tax benefits. Proceeds from the eventual property sale will be used to carry out your charitable intentions.
Life Insurance
For those whose need for life insurance has decreased, making a gift of an unneeded policy can be a convenient and effective way of meeting your charitable goals. When you transfer ownership of a cash value policy to The Hub 50+, then you become eligible for a charitable tax deduction based on its current value. A gift of life insurance can also be an important part of your estate planning.
